WARRANTY

Every machine we sell is backed by a 12-month warranty.

Bought from Snow Flow, backed by Snow Flow, from the day it arrives.

COVERAGE

What the warranty covers

Every Snow Flow machine sold comes with a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use — whether you're running the machine commercially or at home.

If a part or the machine itself proves defective within that period, we will repair or replace it at no charge.

  • 12 months from the date of purchase
  • Covers defects in materials and workmanship
  • Repair or replacement at no charge
  • Commercial and domestic use both covered
  • Transferable to a second owner
  • Applies to all Snow Flow machines sold

EXCLUSIONS

What the warranty doesn't cover

The warranty covers build defects — not damage caused by how the machine is used, maintained, or connected.

Causes of damage

Claims are not covered if the fault results from:

  • Misuse — running the machine outside its intended purpose or rated conditions
  • Overloading — operating beyond the capacity specified in the user manual
  • Physical or environmental damage — impact, flooding, fire, pests, or similar events
  • Improper installation — incorrect power supply, incorrect placement, or failure to follow the user manual installation requirements
  • Improper maintenance — failure to carry out cleaning and maintenance as described in the user manual
  • Power supply issues — operation on a power supply or electrical circuit that doesn't meet the specifications in the user manual. This includes extension leads, shared circuits, and undersized or incorrectly rated circuits
  • Modifications — any alteration not authorised by Snow Flow
  • Unauthorised repair — any service work carried out by someone not authorised by Snow Flow

Wear parts

Normal consumable and wear parts are not covered, regardless of the machine's age. These include things like seals, O-rings, blades, beater arms, dispensing components, heating elements, and drive parts that are exposed to product or high-cycle operation.

If you're unsure whether a specific part is considered a wear item, contact us before sending the machine in.

MAKING A CLAIM

How to make a warranty claim

Contact Snow Flow directly with three things:

1

A description of the issue

What the machine is doing (or not doing), when it started, and any other relevant context.

2

Your invoice

The original Snow Flow invoice showing your purchase date.

3

Your serial number

Found on the machine label.

Once we have those details, we'll assess your claim and tell you what happens next. If we need the machine, we'll let you know how to send it in.

BACK TO BASE

All warranty work is handled at our facilities

All warranty claims go through our back-to-base process. The machine comes to us for assessment and repair — we don't carry out warranty work on-site.

Shipping costs

Shipping to and from Snow Flow is at the customer's expense in all cases. Either party can arrange the freight booking — but the cost is always yours.

Transit risk

Snow Flow is not responsible for damage that occurs during transit. The machine travels at your risk in both directions. We recommend using a tracked, insured freight service.

A few more things worth knowing

ASSESSMENT

If no defect is found

If we receive your machine, assess it, and find no defect in materials or workmanship, we reserve the right to charge an inspection fee. We'll let you know before returning the machine.

WARRANTY PERIOD

The 12-month period does not reset

If we repair or replace a part under warranty, the original warranty period continues from your original purchase date. The 12 months does not restart.

SECOND OWNERS

The warranty transfers with the machine

If you sell or transfer the machine to a new owner, the warranty passes to them for the remainder of the original 12-month period. No re-registration is required.

YOUR RIGHTS

Australian Consumer Law also applies

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The Snow Flow warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Any disputes relating to a warranty claim are handled under Australian Consumer Law.
