To be eligible for the pickup option you must pick up the order in a SUV, Station Wagon or Van. Snow Flow reserves the right to decline any pickup if this condition is not met.

How long does the slushy machine need to be ready?
45 to 60 minutes. If you have access to cold water, it will be ready even faster.

What is the mix ratio for the slushy syrup?
4:1. Dilute 1 part slushy syrup to 4 parts water. Each 2L bottle of slushy mix will make you a total of 10L.

How many serves fit in the machine?
Each slushy bowl fits up to 60 serves (10L liquid). If you have ordered more than 180 serves you will need to refill throughout the event. Upon delivery or pickup one of our staff will train you on how to refill the machine.

Does the machine need a table?
Yes, all our slushy machines need a strong, sturdy table. Our slushy machines can weigh between 40 to 80kg.

Does the machine need power?
Yes, all our slushy machines need power. A standard PowerPoint will supply all machines with enough power. It is not recommended to have any other machines connected to the same power source. If you need to connect another machine/s to the same power source, contact us to find out if there will be enough power.

Can I put my own product in the machine?
Slushy machines can only turn liquids into a slushy if there is a minimum of at least 15% sugar in the liquid. If you want to put your own liquid into the machine, you must contact us first and let us know. We will then work out together if your product will be suitable for our machine. Alternatively, we have a sugar based syrup called Neutral Base, which has no flavour to it. This will allow you to put your own liquid into the machine with the Neutral Base, turning it into a slushy.

Do I need to clean the machine after my event?
Delivery: No, cleaning is not required from you when hiring our slushy machines for delivery. However, if you can, rinsing the machine out with water will help save the driver time and reduce the chance of spillage when picking up the machine.
Pickup: Yes, cleaning is required from you when hiring our slushy machines for pickup. You will be transporting the machine inside your vehicle which is why cleaning is vital. If you do not clean the machine you may get syrup leaking inside of your vehicle. To clean the machine, all you will need to do is rinse it out with cold water and wipe it down. We will also explain how to clean the machine when you pick up.

Can I put the machine outside?
Our slushy machines can go outside only if it is undercover and if the weather is not extremely hot or humid. If there is no cover for the machine the sun can melt the slushy and overheat the machine. Even with cover, the machine can still overheat if it is extremely hot or humid. No cover for the machine will also leave the machine exposed to rain which will result in damaging the machine.

Can I add alcohol into the machine?
Yes, you can add alcohol into the machine. We recommend 700ML to 1L of alcohol per flavour. Alcohol does not freeze, so putting more than 1L will make your slushy watery and will make the alcohol taste too strong.
